Hi i currently own a Marin Mount Vison 5.8 ( large ) Everthing is fine except for the steering....... I currently have Easton EA50 handlebar and stem fitted but they feel too small so i after something with a bit more width on handlebars. At the moment the length "i think" is 630mm by 31.8 and the stem is 100mm. Anyone suggest anything around the £60 mark , which has a decent length Btw doesnt matter if it is second hand.
Cheers Ross

I noticed this Race Face stem on CRC, good value:

Fun: Yeti SB66
Road: Litespeed C1, Cannondale Supersix Evo, Cervelo R5
Trainer: Bianchi via Nirone
Hack: GT hardtail with Schwalbe City Jets0 -
Only change one thing at a time dude! Change the bars first if your wanting more length! Try the Raceface Atlas FR, £57 from CRC & there available in all sorts of colours. Really low rise, nice rearward sweep & a massive 685mm. They were weird at first but I wouldn't be without them now!0

Trouble with those stems is that none of them are shorter than what the OP has at the moment.
If you wanna try a shorter stem without spending oodles of cash perhaps try exotic:

If you want to TRY aa shorter stem without spending oodles, try ebay, once you know what length you want, buy a good one.
Stems on ebay go very cheap.
