Colnago Ace 2010 Versus 2011

I've been doing a little research, and the 2010 Colnago Ace seems to have picked up some great reviews.

Unfortunately it is now next to impossible to get hold of a 58cm version of the 2010 model - so I'm thinking about splashing the cash on the 2011, instead.

Are there any major differences between the 2010 and 2011 models that you guys know of (all I can see is the change to Shimano 105)?

Also, are there any 2011 owners on here? I'd love to hear your opinions on the bike.

edit: gah, just noticed the silly typo in the title. Can I edit that, or could a mod possibly do it for me? Thanks.

Can't comment on the 2011 model, but given geometry of this bike, are you 6'2" plus?

I know where there's a nice 56 size 2010 for sale if you're set on one?

I am exactly 6' 2", sir, so I think 58cm is about right (that's the size I've used for Specialized bikes over the last few years).

How'd you get on with the 2010 Colnago, Andy? Darn - if it was 58cm, I'd have snapped it up.

The sales pitch was Tongue-in-cheek by the way, but for my very limited experience (first road bike ever) they are a lovely machine, only slightly stupid circumstances mean I'm getting shot of mine

I've been led to believe that the 56 is equivalent to a 60 in 'most other frames' so would try do a bit more research or jump on one (if at all possible) before committing to buy

That's strange - I was just about to start a thread about the Colnago Ace, only to find that I'd made this one a few weeks ago.
