Repair Motion Control on Pike

Hi
I have a bike with Pikes. Actually two, but only one has a problem.
The problem is that the motion control no longer functions. Now I understand from some research that this is a common fault likely caused by the failure of a seal (o ring) inside the fork/motion control. Either the o ring slipped or it is broken allowing the oil to find its way into the lower leg assembly from what i can gather.
Can anyone talk me through the repair? Or point me in the direction of good videos or step by step guides on the web? I get so research blind on the net and so if anyone actually has bookmarked good links to help me here I would be so grateful....
