Of course it is. It has to hold all those helicopters up in the sky.
Couldn't do that with cheap sellotape, you'd have several tons of metal raining down.

Well, you know where you stand with skyhooks. They're not going to deteriorate and loose their hookyness after a few years, like the tape loses it's mojo.

Stil, a real playa would have helicopters full of sky hookers though.
