And Good Morning to all.

As I'm in "me time" please send hugs and good luck vibes to my warehouse monkey who had a HA tuesday. Worried about the soft tw@t.

Cheers.

The nanny made bacon, eggs sunny side up and toast for my breakfast this morning.
  • Morning all!

No bacons, as I am trying to get my belly down. Next step after fatty food, gotta stop smoking. That's gonna be hard!

Yesterdays ride killed me, and i'm feeling the pain in my legs today. Luckily got nothing to do except a bit of shopping for food, and chill. Can't go wrong!

did a 14.5 hour day yesterday, got home for 9 ish, went to bed a 10ish back at my desk this morning for 6ish, then a day full of Meh. I'm not usually a down beat person but this week is the highest level of shoot.

Off to ibiza in 4 weeks so thats keeping me going, but that yet againg eats into new bike funds.
I popped into a LBS yesterday to see some shiney shiney, chatting to the guy who races in my series (nice bloke, nice and fast) and we got talking about the 2012 specialized range, and he has it on good authority that 29ers will be the main line with 26" being the minority  now i dont believe it, but he recons that the demand has been so high this year that there gonna hit it with everything next year?
anywhoo he recomended the spesh FSR stumpjumper comp 29er, he raced one iin florida and he really rates it. i just cant get my head around buying a spesh, it would be like buying a BMW and you know that aint gonna happen.

Anywhoo on with todays Meh fest.

Goood Morning. I have a very short list of some not very important things to do today.

    Drive brother to school.
Go to supermarket and buy bacons, bread, milk, sausages and a cabbage.
    Do some uni work.
Poke bike a bit and possibly weigh it because I've been wondering how heavy it is these days.
    Fetch brother from school.
Go scout leadering, must remember ear plugs tonight.

I'm sure at some point Ill find time to waste looking on the interweb for lovely bike bits I want to buy but can't afford.

I forgot to get shower/get dressed, so in typical student fashion I'm driving my brother to school in my pyjamas and dressing gown.

Of to the works kitchen for a double dose. One hours kip is not good.

    Morning

Got up nice and early to head to my GP's to have a strange dark spot that has appeared on my leg checked out. 5 minutes before I was due to head out they rang me to tell me its been postponed to Tuesday. I'm more annoyed as I could have had a lie in!!

I'm off to Mrs G's school later for some kind of Bingo night, I'm hoping that means theres going to be a load of flabby arm skin!

you been up at Clarksons again?
"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
    Parktools :?:SheldonBrown
  • Hahaha, no. I'm on the Clarksons side about this. As are the vast majority of people on the Island to be honest. It's just a bunch or wierdy beardy types that don't like the fact he asked them to stop peering in through his windows and letting their dogs chase his sheep into the sea and shlt all over his garden.

The entire thing is an absolute joke and makes the IOM look like even more of a Royston Vasey type place to the rest of the world. Very embarrasing indeed.

    Good Morning Freaks!

Uber wind assisted ride into work this morning, with the added bonus of not hitting the deck today. Ride home's going to be painful in the headwind though.

Another day of office based slacking today, and then food shopping this evening. Not ideal, but saves doing it on the weekend, when I could be out riding.

Just off to find a bacon baguette, but don't tell DD...
  • Just got out of bed.... Dentist in a bit... then not really doing much for the rest of the day.

Had toast for breakfast as we have no milk which is meh.

But i'm on a diet for the day after yesterday... took my bro for a breakfast fry up for his 21st yesterday morning and then there was a big family meal in the evening.

Yesterdays breakfast: 2 sausage, 2 bacon, 2 egg, 2 fried bread, hash brown, black pudding, beans and grilled tomato. Followed by cake.
  • Yay,

Just been told by work that I get to go to San Remo from 25th April - 4th May for a big tournament we're hosting there. All on the companies dime of course. Staying at the Casino di Sanremo 8)
