Paint Job

Finally upgraded my 10year old bike and was not hard for a simple commuter like me to plump for a new boardman hybrid. Unfortunately I couldnt resist the matt black point job of the pro model and stumped up the necessary £1000. Well I'm gutted that after less than 2 days I have somehow carved a great lump into the top tube right down to the metalwork.
Anyone got any special advice or tips that might help restore my new bike to its pristine glory. Is it simply a case of getting hold of some closely matching paint and touching-up as best i can ?
Thanks in advance !

How wide is it, if its a scratch paint in with a brush, leave for about 30 seconds then remve the overspray with white spirit, can fill in narrow scratches almost invisbly very well.
But yes otherwise its just a case of touching up as carefully as you can.

It worked 100% on my black scenic, didnt on my alloy bike, did on a steel frame, at £1.99 give it a try, but follow the instructions, 50 degrees heat, or a good warm day IN THE shade, not direct sun, allow to dry.
It does work as per the over the top American ad, can they do nothing quietly :!:Peds with ipods, natures little speed humps
