Hardtail 29er buying advice

I am looking for a new hardtail mtb and have my eye on a specialized stumpjumper comp carbon 29er and the cannondale flash 3 29er. I have ridden the specialized and i liked it very much but i haven't ridden other 29ers so i dont have anything to compare it to. Would anybody recommend either of these two bikes or any other bike in the same category. Any advice would be appreciated. Cheers
