Does anyone know what's happening at wharncliffe?

I am wondering if any one knows what is happening at wharncliffe.
As on my last visit I saw new signs up on the xc about singletraction so I looked at the website and it sounds promising and was wondering if any1 knew any more info (like if it's actually happening)

The XC trail building stopped ages ago and the last stuff built is a mess now.There used to be a Wharnclffe riders collective but I think they got pi$$ed off with no funding etc and the website was last updated in 2008 when i think the last dig day was.

There is renewed talk about funding to buy Greno woods(Peaty's involved)and do some official building there.

There's loads of XC stuff if you know where to find it and the DH's are always being tinkered with.
**EDIT** Just read up on ST and that article was there last year and not a lot seems to have happened since then.

Well last time I went the xc trail had a new sign that said it was being worked on by singletraction.
So now I'm confused new sign but no new plans?

If you click on the link in my last post and then go to dig days you'll see there's been no activity for a couple of years. Simon M. the bloke who organises everything uses another forum and said ge thrown in the towel a while back. Whether or not he,or someone else is reorganising stuff remains to be seen but some if the ST signage in the woods us quite old.
Why not email them to seeuf they can shed any light ?

Took your advice and and email'd them they said

"Yes, our involvement has reached an impasse with FC et al but it's hoped Ride Sheffield can take it forward"

So it's looking hopedull for wharncliffe. And bout time too
I'll update when I find out more aswell (dig days etc...)
