Can anyone reccomend a decent one at low price ?
Do they really help for improving your riding/general fitness/loosing weight ?
Do they help prevent burn out ? (too fast - too soon)

I've been using the Sigma for about 18 months, can't really fault it for the money.
It's flexible whereas many of the others I looked at had fixed zones based on your MHR.
Couple of months ago I changed the batteries which cost me £1.50 off the net, otherwise no problems, it's robust. Now where's that "Get Out of Crash Free Card"0 -
Weill i took the plunge and bought the Sigma PC15, completed various sessions wearing it and I'm impressed. £32.00 off Amazon.
During a 20 min session on my cross trainer I was quite disappointed how much time I spent in the top 2 training zones.
Returned from a 4 mile off road bike ride 50 % up hill rocks, stones etc and spent 96% of the time in the pro zone!
I am currently really unfit but that last ride was a real tester!0
