Superstar Components 10mm Rear QR Axle

Afternoon,
Getting a new rear wheel this week with a hope pro II evo hub, basically my bike a Lapierre Spicy 316 has a quick release rear wheel at the moment but noticed on Superstar Components they do a 10mm QR Axle, I take it this will fit my standard quick release rear end? All I have to do then is get the hub specced as a 10mm and I should have a stiffer rear end.

How hard would you have to push it to notice a difference between a 10mm axel and a QR?0
