I have Specialized Pitch frame (2008). Buying new groupset and sram X7 2x10 will be my choice. But what kind of front mech should i take? They have two direct mount options: low and high. which one is the right for my frame?
here's the link to the sram x7 FD page: http://www.sram.com/sram/mountain/produ ... derailleur

shimano LX e-type, but not the regular. you can get the idea from this picture: http://lp1.pinkbike.org/p4pb5523328/p4pb5523328.jpg (not my frame, but i have the same frame, colour & mech)

well the FD 580-E is a low mount.

so the X-7 LDM is the equivalent one.

Back again, it's getting more and more complicated. Sram makes three different standard direct mounts: S1, S2, S3. They are all little different, but I can't find which one is compatible with Specialized DMD standard? Specialized lists a safire comp bike with sram x7 DMD FD as stock and they say it's S1, but for Stumpjumper HT Comp 2011 it's S3. which one is correct for my 2008 Pitch?

    Call your local Specialized dealer.
