BettaBlast in newcastle are good - will treat the frame with due care.

I used a local powder coater cost me £40. I had to strip the frame of all parts and tell them what to mask out. But the job was done well.
  • Best bet is to call round your local powder coaters from yellow pages etc. Almost all will be able to strip and paint a frame and the prices for me have varied from £40 to £60.

I've had quotes from around 6 powder coaters in that region.

I've also started calling auto body repair shops, they're also quite cheap but not all are willing to do a frame. If you call one that does insurance repairs their work is likely to be rather good.

one thing to mention, all of the powder coaters I have rung have said I will have to mask up any areas that don't want painting or to make it very clear when i take the frame in (ie head tube and BB).

EDIT: sorry Gaz, didn't realise you were the OP

Best quote i've had was from a place in Swansea, but these guys in Caerphilly seemed quite promising... think it was £60 for strip and spray
