STI fitting.

I have a Giant OCR4 that has been converted to flat bar and I would like to convert back to road bars and STI levers.
The front and rear mech's are shimano and marked SORA
My question is do I have to use Shimano STI's or can I use Campag ones, I am on a budget to complete this work so want to open my options a little if possible, but obviously don't want to buy something that will be useless.
Any advice gratefully received, offers of cheap usable STI's even more gratefully received.

Shimano with Shimano mechs. Campag has a different cable pull so won't index up.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0

Have a look at this - lots of combinations of shifters/mech's can be made to work
