As per title.

I am looking to upgrade to set of tripple clamp forks.

For example say these

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Marzocchi-TRIPLE- ... 500wt_1156

But again I am a complete idiot when it comes to this. Steerer tube length I assume is the length of the pole after it has been cut to suit the old users MTB?

But its maybe the diameter that confuses me. Like 20mm axcel? just completely throws me sorry.

Basically I want my 2008 Carerra Banshee XXX to soon have a set of tripple clamp forks. Can anyone advise me on what will fit?

It's not that I'm too lazy too look them up it's that I'm a little drunk and no idea of the 2n'd set of measurements and what they mean when people list forks. I'd assume the steerer tube was all the same diamater?

You have probably sobered up now, so try googling all the terms you do not understand.

Do not fit a triple clamp to a bike that has not been rated for it. The stresses are slightly different and can cause the frame to snap.

I am not saying it is not rated, it might be but you need to get it 100% clarrified from C before you make the change.

It would suck buying a new fork, then doubting it and not trusting it for drops.

It might be fine, it might rip the head tube off and kill you, ask C.
Why would I care about 150g of bike weight, I just ate 400g of cookies while reading this?

Ah ok thanks Cavegiant Didn't even know that was an issue.

Seems I'll need to shop around for a new frame but yes I'll have a look around for some more information thanks.
