hi guys, im new to this and im 14 , so be nice
i have hydraulic brakes on my bike, but recently they have been squeaking really loud and badly. there is like a grayey black film on the disks that just will not wipe off. i have cleaned the discs and the pads, but still no result. there is no wear on either the pads or discs.
Please help :S

they either need a clean or they have been contaminated and need new pads and cleaned rotors.
what did you use to clean the rotors and pads?"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

I cleaned them with water and dried them thoroughly. The reason why they are bad is because I was a total berk and put oil on them. I was thinking of removing the discs and pressure washing the discs?0

new pads and clean the rotors with a cycle disc cleaner. also clean the calipers so there is no chance of re-contaminating the new ones."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
