hi guys, im new to this and im 14 , so be nice :D
i have hydraulic brakes on my bike, but recently they have been squeaking really loud and badly. there is like a grayey black film on the disks that just will not wipe off. i have cleaned the discs and the pads, but still no result. there is no wear on either the pads or discs.
Please help :S

they either need a clean or they have been contaminated and need new pads and cleaned rotors.

what did you use to clean the rotors and pads?

I cleaned them with water and dried them thoroughly. The reason why they are bad is because I was a total berk and put oil on them. I was thinking of removing the discs and pressure washing the discs?

new pads and clean the rotors with a cycle disc cleaner. also clean the calipers so there is no chance of re-contaminating the new ones.
