Any tips on servicing a Mavic Crossride front wheel

Hi - after some recent battering the front of my bike has been making some creaking and clunking sounds. After checking the headset was tight and the wheel was in tight noticed some play in hub of the wheel. It's not much - about 1-2mm but I reckon that's my problem.
The wheels are Mavic Crossride disc and rim capable. Not sure how old they are as I bought them second hand. Having never touched them they're probably due a good service after the winter. Having never taken a wheel apart before what's the best way to do this to service these wheels, and to remove the play and hopefully the noise?

follow the link on page 2 of the FAQs and download the tech docs."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
