Bottom Bracket Compatability

Hi Just wanted to check before I buy and replace my BB.
Do any of you know that this will fit my Allez with tiagra chainset? (hollowtech II)

    the shimano compatibility chart doesn't show it as downwards compatible with tiagra/sora...

    ...unless it's a clearance issue this might be just a marketing thing, or to keep the compatibility chart simpler, i'd expect hollowtech ii bb to be interchangeable

    for an allez it'll be english thread

    but why not use the tiagra one? it's half the price...

    but i would look at the Enduro BBs instead.

    Seriously ? I've found the DA to be very good, would be hard to justify the price of the Enduro ..

    Not quite what you were asking but I replaced a Tiagra BB with an Ultegra one last week and everything fitted nicely so they are interchangeable.
