What's wrong with my feet?

I don't know what it is lately, but no matter what bike I ride, my feet feel out of position on the pedals...it's almost as though the pedals feel too small, but they can't be. I seem to be constantly trying to find a comfortable position for my feet.
I am a shortarse, and my feet are only size 7, so I ain't got big feet (big anything, really), which makes it even more confusing. I ride with flats and 5 10's, and the pedals that I have are either V12's or Wellgo copies, so it's not like I have small pedals either. Adjusting the saddle fore and aft doesn't make a difference either.
Perhaps I've just gone mad, but it's annoying the hell out of me!

Hi, Supa, I'm puzzled because it's only a recent feeling on bikes that I've been riding for a long time, with no recent changes to set up etc.
Maybe it's just a mental thing, but I feel like I need to adjust my feel all the time. I am considering trying some larger pedals, but why it's started to bother me after al this time is a mystery.
Perhaps, it's a mind-trick just to have a reason to buy something new?0 -
v12s aren't particularly big pedals as it goes, in fact they're fairly small, maybe try some bigger pedals, or maybe SPDs? I ride better on flats now, as SPDs have forced my feet into a better position. (not an uncomfortable position, i just used to ride with my feet too far forward on the pedals, now i ride with the balls of my feet on the pedals and i can pedal better and manoeuvre the bike better.)0

Simple question, have you changed anything lately? Pedals, shoes, bike etc.0

Cheers, everyone.
No, Cat, I haven't changed anything recently at all, which is why it's puzzling me. I have just been out for a couple of hours (glorious here), and today felt more comfortable.0 -
I useed to ride V8s, and their cheaper copies for years. My feet felt like they were wrapping around the pedal.
So I switched to Wellgo B54s, problem solved.0 -
I agree with your original thought - you've gone mad.I don't do smileys.

Are you missing any pins? I lost some once (different pedals) and my foot felt weird because they were seated differently.http://i556.photobucket.com/albums/ss9/ ... lurLT2.jpg

Cooldad reckons I'm a few pins short of a pedal, so it could be possible.0

Mr. Yeehaa, I got some B54's mid-week, and tried them on Thurs evening. They certainly feel a lot bigger than the DMR's, so I'll see how they fair from now on. If they feel too small, then I'll need my bumps feeeling because the pedals are nearly bigger than me.
Decent price too...£24.99.
I'll give them a good run today and tomorrow.0 -
The odd thing about the B54s is that they're not much bigger than DMRs, but they're just wider where it matters, if you see what I mean.0

Yeah, I know what you mean, side by side there doesn't look to be a massive difference, but I can certainly feel the difference when on the bike.
Wait for my whining post where the pedals feel too big for me.0
