chain guard / bash guard

Hi
this may sound like a daft question (it wouldnt be my first)
is there something like a bash guard i can use but still retain the 3rd ring
also for commuting this would save me getting my jeans getting caught in the 3rd ring

    yes but at approx £54 i would buy some clips.
