Hello people i need to sort this (and other bits) before monday.
I've got no money to buy new parts or anything so i just need a temporary fix.
As you can see, this seal(?) has popped out a little, and it's given me a little play which dosen't feel to good if i'm to be honest, How do i pop/push this back in?

It's only got to last me another week or two till i get the new bike, Thanks

1. clean bike
2. remove forks
3. strip, clean, grease and then rebuilt headset (easy peasy job, check parktools website for instructions)
4. put forks back in and tighten up headset

The seal coming out shouldn't cause play. More likely the loose headset has allowed the seal to slip out. Loosen stem clamp, loosen preload on top cap, reseat seal, tighten preload on headset, retighten stem clamp, ignore for 2 weeks. Simples.A Flock of Birds

If he's been riding it in mud without the seal in place there's a chance that it's clogged up with gunk though. Best to give it a bit of a clean otherwise the steering might be like rubbing two bits of sandpaper together0
