I need to replace my middle chainring on my 2008 SJ FSR pro-carbon. The crankset is Shimano XT M-770 hollowtech.
I can't find a middle chainring for sale on Wiggle that matches this crankset. Does anyone know if it's possible to change just the middle chainring and if so are any special tools needed and who sells the middle chainring and what is the spec?
Thanks.

That's the exact one that will fit. or you can use other brands with the same 4 bolt fitting0 -
It's just a regular 32t 4 bolt chainring. Pretty much any will do the job.
Most shops sell them, CRC, Superstar, Merlin etc.
If you specifically want an XT M-770 one though, CRC have them in stock here:

Merlin do them cheaper, but are out of stock right now.
Are you positive that it's just the middle ring that needs replacing though?0 -

Well, I guess I spend most of the time in the middle ring. Granny looks much spikier, i.e. not worn, and big ring looks OK. They're damned expensive as well, so I think just the middle ring will do for now.
