Shame you like the aliante.... ( mind you I love em too). I have a rather nice arione in shiney black and acid yellow that would look lovely on that willier bought if for me Scott but the yellow was wrong and the aliante is more comfy for my bottom0 -
Definitely a grower that colourways. Really like it now.
If it came with a Selle Italia Filante like my Izoard I understand your discomfort. I thought it was awful piece of kit.

I have excatly the same bike and yes, the colour is a bit of a grower! I went through phases of wondering if I had bought the right bike, but now I'm comfortable with it.
