As title really. I am looking for a nice 130mm fork for my full sus and the Manitou seems to come in within my budget. Anyone have, tried or tested a 2011 Manitou Minute Expert? I cant seem to find a great deal of information about it online. Seems like it may be a renamed drake fork for 2011 but im not sure if anything else has changed.
Cheers in advance

I have the Minute LTD 2011 on my new Cube hardtail and it seems fine, got nothing to compare it with though lol0

I have heard many good things about this fork from members of MTBR, they rave about the damper.
Slightly heavier than a Rev, but the RRP is a lot less.0 -
That sounds promising. I currently have Rev's on my hardtail which I am happy with but thought it may be nice to try another brand plus there is the obvious savings otver the Revs. The other option is transfer them from hardtail and put ithem on Full Sus. That leaves me needing a new 100/120mm fork for the hardtail. Im not sure what option is best.
What are manitou like for general reliability?0 -
Manitou used to have a bad reputation (but so did all the manufacturers at some point!), but this years offerings seem good.
I would probably still get the latest Rev though!

With VIP discount, brings them to £3000 -
Thats a cracking deal from merlin. I will have to get the tape measure out at the weekend as im not sure if 140mm is too much for the bike. If its ok then I may well take the plunge on those Revs
Cheers for the advice0 -
You can reduce them internally using All Travel spacers mind.0

I have the 100mm 2009 version on my XC hardtail and think it's a great fork for the money. No issues so far in over a year of riding.Carbon 456 http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtop ... t=12754782
