Do 'AM' gear cable sets exist ?

Since moving up to 720mm bars, I've noticed the gear cables seem a bit short.

My gear cable set is 'straight out the box XTR' and not trimmed down.

Obviously I can just by a roll of gear outer and make my own, but it'd be nice to get a full set again.

Does anyone make anything to fit wider bars ?

    huh?
I've always had to trim down cables to fit. just buy some outers, inners, and sort it out.

Wow, I thought this was going to be another piss take post...

I am with yee, the bike I rid is probably the largest you have ever seen, and I run wide bars, but still had to cut down.

    XTR might just be short.

    try another inner.
Why would I care about 150g of bike weight, I just ate 400g of cookies while reading this?
  • I know what he means.... sort of...

the packs of xt cables/outers aren't long enough for my meta...

Just buy a length of outer an resize yourself!

    Cheers Guys...

Yes, it may have sounded like a daft question - I agree.

But I do have a roll of cable outer, it's just that as I'll have to get new inners if I put longer outers on, it may just be easier to buy a ready made kit.

If kits such as XT/XTR are a bit short, maybe there's a Saint kit designed for DH bikes ?

nope. DH dont really want too wide a bar.

and many run full length outers and many dont have cable stops in the correct places to allow for a standard pack.
