Can anyone reccomend Halfords in either Hereford or Gloucester? If i can sell my bike, i am interested in buying the Carrera Fury, but i have no confidence what so ever in Halfords and this is putting me off a bit.

Can't really comment on Halfords as such, some people get on ok with them, others don't.
As for the bike it apparently has had a few good reviews from owners. I'm seeing more and more pop up and so far not seen a complaint be it about the bike or Halfords.0 -
So buy the bike and check it over yourself before you ride it. Takes a few minutes, and should be a regular thing anyway.I don't do smileys.

My Fury was 'checked and setup' by the staff at my local Halfords. As soon as I had ridden the 1 mile home I got my tools out and set the bike up properly. It all depends on the abilities of the member of staff at the time. There may well be a knowledgable person working at the store but whether they are the one who checks your bike over will be hit or miss. There are plenty of videos on Youtube if you are unsure on how to set the gears up etc..GT Force Carbon Expert

The last bike I got in halfords came home in the box.
I'm sure your trusted LBS would be more than happy to set it up (for a fee) if your not comfortable doing it yourself.Statistically, Six Out Of Seven Dwarves Aren't Happy0
