First commute on the road bike!

Morning all,
Started commuting again just under three weeks ago on my trusty slick shod Cape wrath, lovely to ride and felt pretty stable on the damp roads. Bit heavy for road work but nice to have a bombproof bike.
This morning I felt brave and pumped the tyres on the C/B MilanoI'd forgotten how bloody fast a road bike can be!
Looks like the MTB is relegated to wet days again, really enjoyed the ride. Just need to build the confidence in the brakes a bit, Quite a step down from hydraulic discs

yes they are quick! brakes can be improved with better pads sometimes, though yes in comparison to MTB disks they can be quite unsettling!0
