I have used the red Teflon lube before and I have also used pedros ice wax,IMHO pedros is better for a dry lube.
To tell you the truth the trails up here in don't Completely dry out and it has rained a lot the past few summers,so I have been using a wet lube all year round. As long as you wipe of all the excess you should be fine for mixed riding conditions.

It may be me,but I find my drive chain is a touch noisier with dry lube compared to wet.

I am a big fan of finishline products and think their oils are the best out there.
I even import their stanchion lube from the USA as you can't get it over here, but I do not use their chain lubes.

Firstly, UK conditions do not like wax lubes. They are for ultra dry californian weather, not mostly dry but occasionally go over a puddle UK riding.

Their winter lube is my emergency backup, but mainly I just use chainsaw oil.

    It costs £10 a liter.

I have two face cloths by my bike; one permanently soaked in the oil, one a occasioanlly washed cleaning rag.

At the end of every ride, quick wipe with cleaning rag, quick wipe with oily, then first rag to take off excess.

Keeps your chain exceptionally well lubed, increases life and keeps the chain quieter than dry lube. The lube is SO cheap and works well.

I got this idea off a forum and have stuck with it, perfect for UK riding.
Why would I care about 150g of bike weight, I just ate 400g of cookies while reading this?

lol just lube up with the cheapest specific lube and change the chain twice a year depending on mileage.
