Yet another thread looking for bike suggestions.....

Hi all,
After last year making the move away from mtb, I bought a cyclo cross bike as a half way house to commute on, and I am now hooked! Whilst still severely lacking in fitness and technique, and weighing a few pounds (stone!!) more than I'd like I am keen to move onto a full road bike for this summer.
My knowledge is lacking so despite scouring threads on the web about new bikes, instead of things becoming clearer I am now more over-whelmed than before so any assistance appreciated.
I have a budget of upto £1200, and obviously looking for as much 'bike' as possible for the money! On my present bike I have complete 105 groupset, so would like at least this on the new bike..... And this is where my knowledge stops!!
Any assistance, and actual suggestions would be much appreciated. Incidentally the frame size would be either 58, or 61 cm as I'm 6ft2.
Thanks in advance.

Bikes Im currently looking at are;
BeOne Mistral (http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=45891)
Cube attempt (http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=57244)
Focus Cayo (http://www.wiggle.co.uk/focus-cayo-105-ltd-2011/)
Anything jump out at people from them?
Incidentally do you think I could get away with a 56cm frame?0 -
No advise, or just the same question been asked too many times?0

Cube Attempt got the What Bike for >£1000 in the C+ bike of the year supplement, that would leave you a bit of cash to play with too.Road - http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=40044&t=12777154&p=16943702#p16943702

Most models in a 56cm would be likely to be too short in the top tube assuming that at 6ft 2 you have normal torso length IMO0

If I were you I would spend about £800 then spend the rest on accessories and the like. Sorted."That's it! You people have stood in my way long enough. I'm going to clown college! " - Homer0

Thanks for the replies. I will go and have another look at the cube, although it is in short supply at the moment.0
