Bike needed to hire for photo shoot

Hi, I'm a stylist working on a photoshoot next week on the 31st March in London and I need to hire a really cool Tri Athalon or Time Trial bike. It's just to be used as a prop in an advert so won't be ridden by anyone. I am willing to pay nicely for the right bike and it will be insured on the shoot and all delivery costs will be covered.

Ideally I'm looking for something with carbon fibre wheels - similar to Corima tri or quad spoke, something that looks really cool and quite futuristic.

If anyone is interested it would be great if you could send me a photo of your bike.

Thanks,

Annabel

  • why don't you get hold of a shop like Sigma Sport in Kingston or Specialized Concept in Kingston and ask to borrow a bike like a shiv?

Must be genuine, she's a stylist and she's called Annabel. Probably lives in Hoxton. I trust her.

How the hell do you expect a TT bike to fit in a letter box?????????????????
  • Presumably she's this gal, soon find out if it's not bona fide:

You not seen the new McLaren Venge Aero bike, pretty thin these days, sure that'd slide right through.

so the letterbox test is how the UCI decides if a new bike gets the approved sticker?

  • I've got a lovely looking bike indoors but unfortunately I don't have a decent camera. If you you can see your way to despatching me a camera suitable for professional use, I can take shots that will really do the bike justice. I'm sure we will then be able to reach a mutual understanding....

I think Anabel may have realised that a cyclist and their bike(s) are not easily parted (if she is legit).
If she isn't legit, she will have to try harder.
