alright folks,
basically I have a chance of buying a brand new Genesis Altitude 30 (2009) model from a local cycle store - he is wanting £1100 for it but said he is open to offers
It's brand new and has been sitting in his warehouse for the past year or so...
it retailed at £1499 back in 2009 and I was looking to offer him about £900 -£1000
anyone think this is resonalble or would you offer lower since there has been 2 models since then -e.g - Altitude 30 2010 and the new Latitude 30 2011
any advice will be grateful
cheers

If it's any help my Rize went from £1699 to £999 in the space of a year and more recently a Whyte 19 went from £1599 to £1350 and it would've gone to £1250 if some muppet hadn't gone and bought it.
Offer £1000 and meet halfway. £1050 seems reasonable, £900 is taking the piss.0 -
