They've taken over my pond.
The kids are absolutely fascinated by them though. We have "Freddy" and "Princess Tiana", and no, I don't know which one is which.

Apparently they hunt for bugs, snails, beetles, worms etc on a night. Was reading up on it last night (rock 'n' roll I know).
As I understand it, they will eat almost anything they can get hold of, only live prey though, most frogs would starve to death before eating dead prey.0 -
