What a fantastic day!

Summer gloves came out, shorts came out, went for a ride and now going back out with the dogs!

Hang the budget, I might even buy an ice cream!

:D

Rub it in whilst I am in the office. With the lurgy.

Short sleeved baselayer, short sleeved jersey and no knee warmers. Glorious morning. You don't often get days like this is in July/August up here.

I went in but came back home

On the bright side, I got to do the return commute in shorts.

Then again, i still have the lurgy.

On the other hand it is a viable excuse for a hot toddy (or two) and the forecast isn't too bad for tomorrow!

I went into the peaks yesterday afternoon, I had to quickly put my arm warmers and leg warmers back on though as I was freezing.

It was 17 degrees here yesterday. I was finishing up with my work and thinking about going out and I got a call from the Mrs asking me (if I'd like ?!?!) to go shopping. Unfortunately, as the cupboard was bare, it had to be done. Still, it's supposed to be nice again today (after the mist has cleared) and she's working late too :D

My club did a ride to Portsmouth yesterday from Bromley.

95 miles in glorious sunshine and I was sat at my desk kicking myself for not taking the day off.

At least commute ride has been lovely.

Ah, the first signs of spring! Acres of pale, tat-pocked, goose-pimpled lard waddling along the pavements, to be followed tomorrow by Hibakusha sunburn..

Lovely ride yesterday, banging in fence posts today, first time we've ever done that without getting piss wet through!
Hope it lasts for Sunday's run out.

Had a lovely ride today. 2 hours out in the sunshine. 20.6 degrees is what the garmin told me.

You go through the cold and rain of winter thinking you would much rather be at home in the warmth and days like today really bring back the feeling of why I love cycling so much.

    Same here.

I have just done a fantastic 31 miles round the local hills and it was gorgeous. I feel I have earned the days like today with all the shit Ive been cycling through the last few months. Its great to have shorts on again as well.

Was a lovely sunny day again yesterday done an enjoyable 48 miler - bit cold in the morn, but soon warmed up - even swallowed my 1st fly of the year.
