will be ordering a new frame the next day or two...
swapping much of my current stuff over and then slowly upgrading all but the forks...
in the end i'v gone for another HT... it's big, it's loud, it's very brightly coloured, it's tough and it's stupidly slack... what am I getting? :P

GITD Summer Season.... just pressed order.... never been so nervous that i'v just bought the wrong thing.... it's gonna have a DH bike Head angle.... but I'm super stoked... it should be ALOT of fun....
Im SOOOO exited now.... as a skint teenager it's a fairly major purchase... so I'v been looking forward to it for ages....
In the end I chose it because I wanted something that really was going to be as fast and aggro as a big AM FS, not just a big trail bike... And it beat the MMMBop due to price and ride feel... I wanted something a little softer for longer rides.
It shoule be AWESOME!!!
Glow in the dark is pretty damned sweet too.I like bikes and stuff0 -
If I was going to add 2.3lbs over an MMBop to get some comfort, I'd justbuy an FS ;-)0

Price was also a consideration ( almost everything I already have will fit the 456... almost nothing would fit the mmmbop) plus the extra price of the frame itself... and I didnt want an FS... I wanted a soft, comfy, super slack HT that will be more than capable for everything i do... from the odd DH track and epic Am in the alps/scotland right through to a bit of mashing around TC's...
and that's what I got.... plus It glows in the dark - epic win!
the weight is a bit of a bummer though.... but My current bike is hardly light... and TBh I dont really care.... I dont enjoy uphill whatever... so im more interested in a bike that will feel just right on the DH... and at least it will NEVER break....I like bikes and stuff0 -
Nope, a bike made from scaffolding shouldn't break.0

well i like the idea of a bike that glows in the dark, should help distract the fly's in the summer on night rides! Or Attract green fly during the day.
If you have ever owned a yellow car you know what i'm talking about LOL0 -
