i want to buy a new road bike but i,m not sure which make or model as most makes argue there corner very well, I will be using it for about 3 times a week for rides about 50k to about 120k and more in the summer. (not racing yet but will be doing sport ifs)Comfort is important to me, and while i have the money i want a very good bike with first rate components, i have looked at Felt, Ridley and the new LOOK frame 695 ipack frame with dura ace set up and Trek, any advice is welcomed, thanks darren

I'd have a look at the scott cr1... that's a rather fun bike to ride.

no need to spend that much to get a great bike for what you propose riding.
Spend half that and use the rest for holidays, clothing, entries and future upgrades.

For that sort of money you can get a made-to-measure carbon fibre Viner Mitus 0.4 or Perfecta. This way you can get measured up and the frame built exactly to your needs and will therefore be very comfortable and suit your needs perfectly.

Felt AR series, Boardman AiR series and Trek Madone 6 series are all stunning top end bikes, designed using CAD structural analysis and by working with the top racing teams in the world.

The € doesn't go too far at this level but you are buying a frame that has been researched and manufactured to F1 standards, with the finest wheels and groupset hanging off it.

You'll need some sort of rocket to cover those distances 3 times a week :D

In all seriousness you have a nice position to be in any of the bikes mentioned will be great to ride. The look is my personal favourite.

For that kind of dosh I would want a bespoke machine with some measure of emotional durability - not some off-the-shelf carbon brand that will beg a replacement in a couple of seasonswhen a 'better' model comes along.
