Have they given me the correct inner tube?

Went to Evans yesterday to pick up a few bits.

Asked the guy which inner tune I needed for an Airnimal Joey Sport, and he gave me a 26 1.25/1.5.

The Airnimals have a 24" rim, so will this tube be OK? Can you go slightly larger on the tube diameter than the rim diameter and get away with it?

Thanks,

Nope, You need a 24" tube. Take it back and take your tyre size with you (24 x 1.75 or whatever)

    Thanks Dave,

I wasn't sure what rim it had on it, but as I picked it up last night I can now let them know the exact one I need.

I wouldn't care, he even went and checked on the interent!!!

    Evans staff should know better.

If you really want to mess with their minds, ask for the tube in ETRTO size.

    That'll probably be 25-520.
