Tire Pressure Concern

I have to ride with my tires at the upper end of the suggested pressure because I am a big guy (100kg+). The problem is, even though they are firm as soon as I sit on my bike and start riding they feel soft. So besides loosing some weight, what are possible remedies to this problem?

They should be deformed a bit when you sit on the bike, it adds more grip, comfort and means that the tyres will deform around around rocks/roots instead of bouncing off them.0

I feel like i've got a slow puncture everytime i get tired!0

I'm around the 95kg mark, (193cm tall) and run my tyres around the 50psi mark.
There's not really much you can do about that sag in the tyre. it's meant to happen to an extent. Just make sure that your tyres are firm enough to avoid any punctures from riding drops! It's been a while...0 -

i weigh 90kg's and pinchflat tubes (on numerous tyre types) below 40psi.
Tubeless however, is another matter. 35psi...no pinch probs0 -
Try dual ply?0
