Strips of inner tube patches

Just a quick one
As (I presume) everyone else who repairs their own flats has, I have a load of tubes of vulcanising solution glue stuff but no patches as I have used them all.
A while ago, my LBS was selling strips of patches only - cheaper than a repair kit and I think, about 10 patches to a strip for a pound or so as opposed to 5 patches in a kit for £3 (small difference I know, but hey, many a mickle makes a muckle).
Unfortunately these were MTB 'tube size only and therefore too big for road tubes.
Does anyone know where I get get strips of road sized patches from - I have tried the usual suspects to no avail.
Any help gratefully received.
Kind regards
Y

I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0

Wilkies do a full repair kit for about 70p - the same kit in UK Cycles if £1 both good value0

I bought a box of the 16mm Rema (size F0) patches that Redvee mentioned. A good price with the link he provided but you can also just do a google. I find this size is perfect for skinny road tubes. The next size up (F1 which I think are 20mm) are the standard small size patches that come with the Rema kits.0

You can get a decent block of repair rubber from Halfords for not too much - 3 rectangles you cut to size. Should do quite a few fixes but if you are very, very sensitive, maybe you'll feel the lack of feathered edge through the tyre!Faster than a tent.......0

Perfect stuff - thankyou very much indeed.

Repair rubber?! How much?!
How many patches can you make from one old inner tube? About a lifetimes supply.Clean and rough-up and glue both patch and tube , dry then apply.

These look similar to some I purchased over 3 years ago but mine came in a retro looking box with glue. How many patches have I used in those years? Not many but I have cut the strips into 2s & 3s for when they do get taken out on the road.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0 -
I cut my own patches out of an old inner tube.
In the last 37yr they have not failed once yet.0 -
I bought 2 strips of Weldtite patches from Ebay yesterday. That way I can cut my own patches:
