Removing rear shock- Fox R

Hi, did a quick search but can't find the answer to this one. I'm new to this so sorry if this is a stupid question.
My rear shock needs a service but I can't figure out how to remove it. I've undone the bolts either side of the shock at the top (by the rebound adjuster) and can see the threaded bolt inside. It was originally stuck but thanks to some Q10 (miracle stuff!) it now turns but how do I get it out? Is there some bolt puller needed? The lbs tried to get it out but in spite of hitting it with a hammer it refused to budge and they now think that they will have to drill the bolt out.
Thanks
