I have an FSA H/S on my 99fsr but it only grips by around 1cm, could I put an integrated H/S on or a lo profile one

  • So to get the extra cm which way should I go as when the steerer was measured it looked spot on in the shop

new crown/steerer assy needed. but as long as the top of the steerer is above the clamp bolt there is no issue.

  • There exactly 4mm showing but I wanted 1cm extra for a spacer, doesnt make any difference just wanted a bit extra for the strength without putting excess pressure on the bearings by over tightening

so you are really looking for 6mm more?

what is the headset? download the FSA headset book in the tech links above and see what the given stack height is and see if you can find another standard one that will give you 6mm.

unlikely but you may as well have a look.
