Chainstay Bolt (Near BB)
Hammers
Posts: 20
Hi All,
I've got a Boardman FS Pro, was out yesterday and the bolt holding the chainstay to the frame near the BB worked itself loose. Couldn't tighten it there and then so gently rolled home and managed to tighten it there. Only thing is it now looks as though it's not quite as snug as it should be although it may have been like this before. Couple of photo's attached (hopefully!!)
Can anyone tell me if I have a problem or if this looks ok?

Thanks for replies!
So if it's badly aligned will this cause additional problems or be likely to come off?
Also if it's a pivot bolt is this easily replaced?
I've only had it six months so would this be covered by warranty or is it just bad luck?
Sorry for all the questions but I'm not sure if I should take it back to Halfords, to a LBS or have a go myself?
Would appreciate any suggestions!!0 -
yes, get it to a bike shop (or if less than a year old back to the seller)."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
