New commuter/new bike

Hi,
I have just started commuting to work and until my boss agrees to the CTW (hopefully this week) i am borrowing bikes for the 7 miles into work. I have had a quote from the local store and they have recommened the following bike. I would be very grateful for any feedback on the bike. I do plan to use it on weekends taking the kids out.
