Hi. I'm doing this on the 10th April. I've got a new iphone 3. Is there any way I can download this route to my phone. If there is, please be very clear and simple in your instructions. I haven't done this before.

Not sure if you can get it on the iPhone but on my android, use google my tracks, it records gps stats from speed to gradient. Got to leave it running whilst you're out though.

If you're talking about using the phone for directions, program the route into something like bike hike, and then download or export it to a gps device file and load it in the phone. Might need to experiment with apps that can do it though!

I did this last year and doing it again this year. Don't worry about the route - it's very simple and well sign posted - you really can't go wrong.

I don't think an iPhone battery will last the course anyway, unless you have an extra battery pack?

    Thank you.
I was hoping that I might get round before the phone died, but I have a feeling I may be the one that gives in first. (Training not gone as well as I'd hoped) :(
