Hi Guys i am knew to the site,
Myself and a few mates are getting into our mountain biking and are looking for a bike rack that can take 3 bikes and is pretty universal so we can swap between cars with the rack. Has any body got an idea of a rack that would fit the bill to swap between cars easily.

Remember not to obsure rear lights and number plate. Since these are in different places on different vehicles you may struggle to find one that meets all your requirments unless you are willing to invest in a lighting board too.
I've got a couple of racks because we've changed cars at different times and have needed more than one. For what it's worth the Mont Blanc High Mount rack similar to this or this seems to work OK.Nobody told me we had a communication problem0 -

I use this and it fiits 3 adult and one kiddies bike.
you can buy the extra mounting plates separately and that means the rack can be moved vehicle to vehicle.
I got mine from roofbox.co.uk.Veni Vidi cyclo I came I saw I cycled0 -

This appears to be a tow bar mounted rack. Probably more stable and able to take greater weight that the one I mentioned, but would of course require a tow bar to be fitted to each vehicle.Nobody told me we had a communication problem0
