What's the quickest/easiest way for three of us to get home after completing?

Anyone used a man with a van type arrangements to get to main station or gone to the airport to fly south ... advice on the pros and cons of methods appreciated.

just get the train back from wick - edinburgh - london. very easy and straightforward. there's space on the train for your bike, just try and reserve it in advance. also try and book your tickets as early as possible to get the cheap advanced tickets. problem with this is that you have to know when exactly you'll be finishing lejog....

Euston Sleeper from Inverness should be able to take the 3 bikes, Wick or Thurso to Inverness may only have space for 2, and one of you would have to be in a seperate cabin possibly sharing with a stranger (or go 3x 1st class and get a cabin each) but you can get plastered in the lounge car together.

Daytime trains from Inverness to Edinburgh or Glasgow will be either 2 bikes or 4 bikes with 2 in each of the 2 units. So wouldn't be all that good for a group of 3.

Dunnet to Thurso doesn't take long, so can't imaging JoG to Thurso takes all that long either, and is fairly flat.

Vital to reserve bike spaces, especially on the train from Wick to Inverness.

If you book the sleeper far enough in advance you can get it from 19 quid:
