Used to use them on the mtb and found them fine, the covers look tatty quickly, I'd wear through them in 6 months or so, and the prices got silly.

Found Spesh Toupes even more comfy, but they snap too often for my liking!

Used to have one back in the day on the Proflex, it was fine. Not squishy comfortable like a trail saddle but supportive and compliant. Pure XCJ but if you're looking for that sort of thing you won't be disappointed.

Used to have one on my hardtail...found it brilliantly comfy, but it did look like a razor blade side on...would need to do more miles on a weekly basis to live with it again...need a well worn behind as it isn't the most padded saddle around!
