The Davie Bell RR based in the Ayrshire counrty side (and now the main feature in this area since the Girvan moved)and billed as the hardest single day race in Scotland takes on a new twist this year. Usually taking in the famous climb of Nick O Balloch, this year this is not included but a 6 mile streatch of forest road is. Located between Loch Doon and Loch Braden (stincher bridge) the trak winds its way through the carrick forest. And going by the state of the roads in this area its possible a big improvement. More info can be had by visting the Ayr roads cc web site.
