Peeps,

Am now needing to replace the bearings in my suspension pivots - unfortunately my lbs is a bit steep and at the mo, I rather spend a bit less.

So, do any of you know of a reasonably priced reliable supplier who may be able to help?

Thanks and regards

Simon

    Simon,

Giant parts are not overly excessively prices and I suspect your LBS is selling at retail. If you do find a cheaper alternative there is normally a good reason for that and its the quality is less.

In the longer term it's normally cheaper! :)

However, by all means get the numbers of all your bearings and look on ebay for stainless versions, as most stainless versions will be of good quality.

Also, when buying from your LBS providing they are a Giant dealer they get the kits which means it includes all hardware, not just the bearings.

BETD (google) or just check the bearing sizes and contact any bearing distributor.

    Result :D

I originally ordered a top bush for rear shock and Giant sent a suspension bush kit by mistake.

I was offered it at a slight discount but at the time didn't need so they were to be returned.

Went back today and got the entire lot (which hadn't been returned) for £20.

Well pleased with one and only LBS in Paddock Wood (just in case there are ad bans on here):D
