Topeak Joe Blow Pro pump gauge

I have had ten years of flawless service from my Joe Blow Pro, but this week the gauge no longer registers anything. The pump produces air as before, but the needle doesn't move. This is the model with the gauge at the top.

Any ideas? Apart from the cost of replacement, this is an old friend which I would feel sad to replace.
