Just spotted this on one of the stories. My current (very old) 8spd :oops: XT shifter is not very accessible. I have to use my thumbnail to shift down through the gears at the moment. Not cool.

This looks like a good solution or maybe I'll just enter this century with a 9/10spd upgrade… :D

    It's a Hope brake lever with a matchmaker clamp. Only new shifters and higher end ones are compatible. And only certain brakes.

    that is a Hope "match maker" Hope do a shimano and a sram version. Avid and formula also do there own versions.

    Note they are brake specific. they are also for certain shifters only.

    Cheers guys. I have those same levers so I now also have an excuse to upgrade my drivetrain. 8) Just need to find some funds :cry:
