Hi,

I have a Rock Shox Tora 318SL 130mm and whenever I take the air out it gives me full travel - about 125mm but whenever I pump it to 100 psi, it only goes in about 80mm. What can be the problem? Will it make a difference if I service it?

Rider weight? You have the correct sag (30-40mm)?

No actually I weigh 65kg. On the fork it says 100-120psi. I actually don't get any sag and i don't want to have any so I don't waste travel but probably I am not right? Can this be the problem?

    Thanks

Sag is good-it makes the forks perfom better when going into dips and potholes etc.

Basically, if you pump it up to the pressure suggested by the chart for your weight, and sit on the bike, you should use 2-4cm of the travel(leaving 90-110 mm stanchion visable)
If this doesnt happen-less than 90mm stanchion visable-try adding some more air. If there is more than 110mm stanchion showing, try removing some air.

If you cant get this to happen, its probably time for a service.
